Eye To Ad Media Begins Custom-Coding AI Agents for Small Businesses, Starting With Lead Response
Published October 9, 2026 by Eye To Ad Media
DENVER, Colo., October 9, 2026 — Eye To Ad Media, the Denver marketing firm founded in 2012, now custom-codes AI agents for small businesses. The first builds cover three jobs: answering new inquiries within minutes, running sales-trained assistants on company websites, and handling research and content workflows. Every build is restricted to information the business has approved, and a person signs off before anything reaches a customer.
Off-the-shelf agents have become cheap or free this year, and the firm says that is the reason for the narrow focus. General-purpose tools work well when a business runs on mainstream software. The time a small company actually loses tends to sit between its own systems: a field-service CRM, a scheduling tool, a phone line and a spreadsheet that do not talk to each other. A custom agent is built to work in those gaps.
The free agents are good at common work on popular platforms. Most of the small businesses we talk to lose their time somewhere else, in the handoff between a form, a phone and a calendar. That handoff is what we build for, and nothing goes out without a person approving it.
Zach Wennstedt, founder of Eye To Ad Media.
How the builds work
Each project starts with one well-defined task rather than a broad automation plan. The agent gets the narrowest permissions that do the job, read access by default, and answers only from the business's own approved material. It hands off to a person when a question falls outside that material. It keeps a log of what it did and when, and it tells customers plainly that they are talking to an automated assistant.
Lead response is the usual starting point. For local service companies, the first business to answer a new inquiry often wins the job. An agent that replies quickly, asks the qualifying questions the owner would ask and offers appointment times can make that happen at night and on weekends.
Availability
Custom agent projects are scoped individually, and cost depends on how many systems an agent touches and how much testing the workflow needs. Details and a working example are at eyetoad.com, or call 1-800-481-8638.
